For some family fun or just to soak up the sunlight, the seafront is a must, complete with pebble beaches and an amusement arcade filled Pier. Those with a architectural passion can marvel at the Indo-Saracenic Royal Pavilion, the former residential home of the Prince Regent who helped to start Brighton's 19th century revival. Hen nights and stag do's are also well catered for; famed for its cocktail culture, clubs vary from classy to downright cheesy.
Kemptown is the heart of the gay community whilst North Laine is home to some fantastically individual and quirky stores and boutiques. All in all an icon of modern Britain.
