A lively and characterful area north of Notting Hill. Traditionally cheaper, edgier and a touch cooler than the Hill. The local focus is the Goldborne Road market and shops, which at the top of the Portobello Road offers a slightly less touristy collection of antiques shops, cafes and bric-a-brac stores.
