While this pub is under restoration from a new owner, the interior already looks much better & is more welcoming. A good range of wines and beers, and good food too.

City Pub

Current

Nice pub on Petticoat Lane near the city which explains the popularity with the lunchtime and afterwork crowd. Has a really nice feel about it and as it's a bit off the beaten track, not as busy as more central city pubs which can get a bit boistrous. Nice food too, but not Thai food.
