I agree with the others that have reviewed this place it should re-open. I also heard the rumour that it was to re-open and I have driven past it a few times over the last few months and there has been scaffolding outside so it does look like someone is doing work on it. It should open because it is a really good little venue for live music and new up and coming acts to perform. I used to go here regularly in my college days and listen to the up and coming indie music and was really gutted when it closed so please re-open again!!

Good to hear this may re-open. Hope this is true. It was the best small venue in Manchester for many years, way before the Northern Quarter was created. Totally agree about the beer, stick to bottled larger.

This has been closed for renovation for quite some time. Rumour has it (we hope) that it'll reopen. Fabulous music venue in smallish Victorian place. Always a good atmosphere. Over the years it's had more than it's fair share of brilliant musicians both national and world music. Crap beer though.
