The now well established Wagamama's can now be found in the city of Brighton and about time too! Wagamamas is an eating experience like no other - long 'school' style tables and benches, with numbered ordering along with excellent food. From a range of noodles, rice and fish dishes, it caters for all taste buds of all ages. Watch the shefs cook your food as you delve into some free green tea (upon request). My favourite is Chilli Beef Ramen, served in a large soup bowel. Well worth a visit!

The Hornbrook
This pub has a lovely atmosphere with very nice food to match. The warm, friendly atmosphere is welcomed with a range of drinks, including ales, to choose from. The outdoor heated patio is nice for summer days, and the inside warm and full of character for those winter months. Just outside of Horsham, this pub is worth the visit.

Lidl
Having never been to Lidl, I still had a vague idea of what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised. The value of some of the goods are amazing, with bargain after bargain. Although not all of it is top branded items, the food is still relatively good (although the mince we bought was not very nice) but for essentials then have no hesitation to shop here first before going next door. The cues are long to pay, but the low amount of staff is one of the reasons why it is so cheap!

Arndale Market, Manchester
For that fresh produce or that taste of something different, a visit to the Arndale Market is worth your time. Located in the corner of the Arndale shopping centre, in the middle of Manchester's city centre, its location and price mean top service. From baguettes, to rolls, to meats, to drinks, to snacks, to crepes, to foreign food stores, the market is always busy and always interesting. Go and take a look even if you have no intention to buy!

La Tasca
La Tasca is a top Tapas bar in the centre of Manchester. With good prices, good food, good protions and very friendly staff, expect nothing less than an overall pleasant eating experience. The restaurant is clean, easy to find and has dishes to cater for everyones tastes. Worth a visit!

Attic
This nightclub has seen some world famous artists play some of the finest music in Manchester. Located above the good Thirsty Scholar pub next to Oxford Road Station, the Attic is an intimate, grimey venue (which is a good thing!). With many drinks deals at many nights and sofas to take a rest from all that dancing, a night out at the Attic should always be a possibility.

This club/bar is well known in Brighton for putting on its nights full of top music with a great atmosphere. Although not massive, its the right size for an intimate gig, a good dance or a relax at the bar. With a range of musical tastes across its nights, Audio is well worth visiting. The upstairs bar has a very nice outside area at the front of the building, looking out to sea and the famous pier. Also, the fish tank as you go into the toilet downstairs is worth a mention!

Highly Recommended
From its classy, stylish interior to its juicy steaks, this is one restaurant definatly worth a visit. In the centre of Deansgate, Grill on the Alley approaches the steak the way I like it - no fuss with a variety to choose from the way I want it cooked. For a meal with the partner or a meal with your colleagues, I highly recommend Grill on the Alley.

Revolution, Fallowfield
Revolution vodka bars are very popular, especially this one locate in the middle of Fallowfield's student population. Its variety of drinks make it a good stop on a night out, aswell as a classy decor and apparently good food (I have been informed that the breakfasts are good!). Although not cheap, a revolution card can be purchased to get drinks deals to make things a bit easier on the wallet. Worth a visit!

Top for students
This student-only bar/pub is always busy, with a good friendly atmosphere, pool tables, sports, music, games machines and a decking/smoking area. Its situated in the middle of the student area of Fallowfield and is a very popular place for a drink and some food. The £3 meals arent the biggest in the world, but for that price you cannot go wrong. The drinks are not as cheap as you may expect, but its still worth that little bit extra. Recommended if your a student.
