Boots is a brilliant shop that sells health and beauty products as well as holiday clothes, and baby products.

Having a Boots Advantage Card is by far the best thing you could ever do. For every £1 spent you receive 4 points, however with the monthly magazine and mailings as well you have the opportunity to boost your points.

Current special offers include spend £5 and receive a £5 No7 voucher and a £5 facial skincare voucher. You can also get gifts when you purchase certain products, for example No7, Lancome, Clinique, No17.

They also have a small clearance section upstairs where you can purchase even more bargains.

This place offers great deals on drinks meaning you can get drunk on the cheap lol, only problem with this place is the staff are sometimes a little snobbish much preferring to stand and have a little chat alone leaving you stood at the bar. Also some of the seats are tatty as hell with the leather covering peeling off and being stuck back down with duct tape, the floors in the toilets are also sticky as hell.

Edit: Was in there again last night and I have to say it never seems to improve, it was very quiet with only about 4 people in. The staff were reading magazines and sat at a table rather than at the bar. the seating really needs rejuvinating as they are marked and very tatty.

great location
This slightly smaller Yates is situated within short walking distance from the Train station making it perfect for that quick stop off drink before dashing off.

Although iut gets incredibly busy on match days when it is quieter this place is some where nice to relax with great food at great prices and special offers on drinks too then this is a great place to go for a small get together with friends and family. They offer shots and jugs of cocktails. 2 meals for £7, the staff are friendly too and always come over to check everything is ok.

Little Pricey but worth it
We recently went here after a day out. Me and my grandparents decided to eat in the restaurant. With both of them being over 60 they got the pensioners special which is £7.50 and includes a starter a main course and a dessert as well s a cup of tea. I got a starter and a main course and a glass of coke and mine came to about £12.50. So all in all they got great value for money. The portion sizes were quite big although the pensioners portions are slightly smaller than normal and the fish was cooked to perfection.

huge pizzas
Pizza La Fonte are a great take away place just near Park Lane College. They do some great meal deal combo's which are affordable yet taste just great, pizzas, kebabs, burgers, chicken wings. They also do the hugest pizza I have ever seen in my life for a great price! I have never actually been in the shop but have ordered from them quite a few times and they are defo one of my favourite take away places. Delivery is quick and the delivery guys are good to have a chat to as they have great sense of humour so all in all great customer service.

This recently refurbished McDonalds in Leeds city centre is close to some of Leeds main shops and also some of the best night life spots in Leeds. Decorated in bright funky colours with modern seating this restaurant is very up to date. Offering a wide variety of meal options from salads to burgers. There is a fast lane which is open throughout the day. On weekends the restaurant is open untill 4am which means if you have late night munchies after a night out you can go grab something to eat. The only downside to the late night opening is the menu is limited.

This used to be a great little curry house just off Albert Square, in Yeadon, close to the local pubs and shops,however it is no longer open. They used to work as both a restaurant and a takeaway and many a weekend were spent ordering food from here. The staff were kind and friendly and even got me a christmas present one year. Great affordable and tasty food. Their chicken karahi murgh was absolutely delicious and I have never found a restaurant that has cooked this dish to the same standard since. The restaurant was quite small but perfectly comfortable.

Fish and Chips
Graveley's are a great fish and chip shop situated on the side of Leeds Kirkgate Market. Offering not just fish and chips but chicken, sausages, kids meals and much more. The queues coming out of the shop can be a little bit off putting but the staff inside are fast and efficient, and what you expect to take 10 minutes takes less than half. The prices are very reasonable and the food tastes great. I love the fish from there, to eat now while still hot, in lashings of salt and vinegar mmmm. The only problem I have with Gravely’s is it isn’t near my house so I can only order food from there now and then as it can go a bit soggy on long bus journeys home.

With the option of takeaway or eating in in its comfortable and well set restaurant this place economises its production of gorgeous food.

The food is delicious with a wide range of curries, sundries, accompaniments, drinks, desserts, starters and probably much more. All the meals are cooked to perfection and the staff are really friendly. The prices are very reasonable.

Very Good fish and chips
A great fish and chip shop in Headingley that taste scrumptious and are great value for money with the option of eat in or take out as well as offering discount if you are a Leeds card holder this place is just great. Situated perfectly for somewhere to eat when the cricket or rugby is on and in close distance of the Arndale Centre and bus routes.
