It is a long time since I have been here as I live a long way from it now. But from what I remember it is a fantastic place to eat with family or friends or for couples. The atmosphere is very ambient and relaxing. The waiting on staff are wonderfully polite and efficient. The chef(s) a genius as this is where you will see Italian food at it's finest. So tasty and very well priced. I'm considering making the long journey to experience this again. If you have never been here I would recommend you go there right away and if you have been before why are you not there right now!

This hotel is one of the many Marriott hotels up and down the country. I visit this particular one every year on Christmas day. As family members stay there over the holiday period. Although I have never actually stayed there myself I have been in the rooms which are gorgeous and they are decorated to a high standard and the beds are so comfortable with brilliant quality duvets and pillows. The bathroom comes with all the little toiletries you would expect and more. The rooms include free tea and coffee. Air conditioning is standard. The whole hotel has a luxurious feel and the staff are very accommodating. The food is exquisite and I look forward to all year round. The price of Christmas dinner is quite expensive (but children under 5 eat for free) but at other times of the year I think that their prices are reasonable.

My in laws visit this place at least once a week, it is always very busy but this does not affect the service as they always have plenty of staff working and they are always friendly and helpful, the curries are great and I know that it is well known and very well liked by people who live locally. The prices are more than reasonable and the portions are very plentiful. If you can’t manage it all then they will put it in trays for you to take home. And if you prefer not to eat in then they have a take away next door. Very highly recommended.

I visited this place before it was done up and it was terrible. It was dirty, smelly and drab! The carpets looked more like lino they were that dirty sticky and ground in. The straps didnt work on the highchairs. And the staff were slow and rude. The tables were so close together you could hardly move and they stuck us on a tiny table big enough for one (there were two of us and a little one in a high chair). They took about an hour for the food to arrive and when it did I wished it haddent. But like I said I visited before the refurb and they spent alot of money so i'm told and they have all new staff.

Simply the best
This chippy is simply the best, they do have an eat in bit although I have never used it but the fish and chips are simply the best, perfect everytime. Lovely guy that owns it John I think his name is. The thing I enjoy the most from this fish and chip shop is Chip barm with mild curry sauce, I wish I had it right now. I am telling you though seriously the chips are spot on if you are a fan of good old fish and chips give this place a go as they are A class. They do lots of other things too like braised steak but their scallops are delish!

I used to live in swinton and love this chippy the curry sauce is second to none and the staff are really friendly, Iain I think the owner is called, what a lovely guy honestly he is so polite and welcoming, and very good at his job. I think he got the chippy of his dad so it's a family business. I don't live too far from swinton now and my fella still travels there just to get their chips! The only thing I wish they would do is fishcakes, but their fish more than makes up for it is so white and just falls to pieces in your mouth, in a tasty light batter.

I love this pub, I used to live just up the road from it as a kid and at the time it was run by an elderly couple and was very dated but it has changed a lot, I have visited several times over the last few years and the place has had a total makeover now it's very stylish and has a great atmosphere there is a front and back door and good sized care park to the rear. Outdoor seating is available. Children are welcome although it is only up to a certain time. The food is great pub food, with quite a large menu to choose from. Lovely pub in lovely location.

If you like MacD's then this is the best MacD's I have ever been to as student I spent many days in here and agree with the other review that the staff are great and Revas is a right laugh! It is very clean unlike some of the MacD's I have visited! The food well well I have never been told "sorry we don't have this or that", which I find that I always get told in my new local. The fries are always fresh and don’t have too much salt on. The burgers are always hot and the drinks are always cold. This place gets it spot on. Just a shame they got rid of the kids play area!

Brilliant Italian takeaway. This was a regular haunt of mine when I lived in the area. The only thing letting this place down is that they do not deliver. They do some of the tastiest pizzas in town and their garlic bread with cheese is delicious (mints are advisable). As for their Italian dishes they do everything really from lasagne, to carbonara. The portions are generous and they taste simply amazing. The staff are lively and really friendly. You don’t have to wait long either. Thinking about it I’m visiting the area this weekend and so think I just might have to go! If you like Italian and want to have it at home I would recommend this place.

My first experience of Bagel Factory was in London... they are everywhere. When I found out there was one in Manchester I was really pleased their bagels are so fresh and tasty. My favourite is a smoked salmon and cream cheese toasted bagel. At Bagel factory you can eat in of out but it's cheaper to eat out, I think by about a quid on average? They also sell bagels to take home you can get half a dozen for about 3-4 quid! Whilst I think that the bagels are good I think that the drinks are quite pricey as hot drinks are about £1.50 to £2.50 a cup! It’s not that much but you can buy a jar of coffee or box of tea bags for less.
