This is a lovely place to visit. It's free to enter (they do ask for a donation if you can though) and it's right in the centre of Norwich so it's not too far out to go and see.
It doesn't take long to have a look around everything (only about 30 minutes) but it is beautiful. Children may not appreciate this as much as adults though.
There is a little gift shop attatched to the Cathedral which stocks lots of little gifts and some rather nice broaches which my Mum loves!
Make sure before you go though that no one is getting married that day as you may well be turned away.

Lush
Oh my gosh!
I LOVE lush, this Lush is just one of the many that I visit very frequently.Lush sell products which are made mostly out of natural ingredients. Most of which are very quirky so they're very unusual. One thing i'm using at the moment is porridge soap, it's a basic soap which smells like porridge with porridge oats in it to exfoliate as well!
One of my other favourite things from Lush are there face masks, they're very fresh and make my skin feel amazing.
Some things can be quite expensive (some moisturisers are £25), but lots of things are cheaper. Go and check it out for a treat!

Devonshire Arms
This is a very gothic style pub, but that's nothing to be afraid of, just stay away if you don't like that type of atmosphere. The ceiling is absolutely covered in posters of bands which makes quite interesting reading if you've had a few too many!
The toilets here are a let down, they are tiny, and when I was in this pub last week, the mirrors had been graffitied with lipstick, all kinds of obscenities were written all over them! I suppose it does add to the er 'atmosphere' of this place.
It's always very quiet in here so it's a good place to chill out and grab a quick bite!

The Worlds End
I have been here many times (although mostly during the daytime) and had lots of good times here. If I go in the daytime I always head up the spiral staircase to the little balcony floor where there are sofas. It's much nicer up here and you can really chill out. Failing that I head down the stairs and sit where it's much coasier. I have only been to one gig here (unintentionally) and it was OK, not amazing though.
This pub is well located in the middle of Camden opposite the tube station.
Drinks are quite expensive here (as they are through most of London), slightly more than other pubs I have visite in the area!

HMS Belfast
I went on the HMS Belfast with a group of friends - we had some strange idea that it would be hilarious. It was actually really interesting. It was a very sunny day so standing on the deck was really nice, and they had lots of replica 'things' you could sit in.
The inside of the boat is like a floating museum, you walk round looking at lots of different areas and how and where the people on the boat would have slept.
One thing to keep in mind is the stairs, they are basically a ladder so could potentially be a struggle for quite a few people (i'm thinking pushchairs and elderly people). It was a good few hours out though!

I remember going here as a teenager (only a couple of years ago) and having a great time! One thing which is still strong in my head is the travelators which move you past all the crowns and jewels. I found everything really interesting and the walking certainly tired out my younger siblings - be prepared to do lots of walking here and walking up lots of stairs.
It is in a good central location, and although not cheap, I don't consider it expensive as it is a whole day of activities.
Take advice from the other people that have said buy your tickets in advance, you'll regret it otherwise!

TGI Friday's
I went here before a night out at the theatre. This is perfect for that purpose as it's on the same complex as the theatre building.
I was going to see Annie and our waiter introduced me to 'Annie' and Miss Hannigan - he was great!
I remember when I went they did milkshakes made with whole Mars Bars and Milky Ways. These weren't cheap but they were so worth it!
I don't think the food here is great quality, but then it's not expensive and it does hit the spot!
Occasionally they do have promotions running so it's always a good idea to check out the website before you go!

Pizza Hut
I have visited this Pizza Hut once, and I will not be returning. Firstly, to get into this Pizza Hut you have to queue for ages, it's silly. You have to get there very early to be able to get in straight away.
Due to how busy it is, the food runs out quickly and there isn't always a good choice. This is irritating considering how long you wait to go in.
Pizza Hut however is one for the kids mainly and they will be consoled by the fact that they can use the ice cream factory afterwards.
If I wasn't with kids, i'd definitely steer clear!!

Deep Pan Pizza
I used to visit this place loads, I haven't been there for a while though (about 8 months). The reason we started going here was because Pizza Hut in the centre as always really busy. This offered exactly the same bu cheaper, less busy inside and no queue!
Many times we went in there and were only 1 of 3 families, as a result they let us pick what pizza they were going to make for the buffet next!
The staff are lovely in there and very friendly, it's a bargain for the quality that you get!
It is located a 1 min walk from the centre building, it's in that big triangle building where the bingo is!

I went here recently to see The Hives play. At first it was good, we stood right at the front, got talking to lots of nice people. The support act came on and it was a really nice atmosphere. However, as soon as the Hives came on it suddenly got manic down at the front (mosh pit style).
Now, this would've been ok and I would've fought my way out, but it was impossible. I also faint very easily in crowded situations, which inevitably happened as I had been stuck in the middle of a fight for several minutes. Due to the nature of the 'pit' no one noticed and there was no visible security to help me get out. It was a nightmare, so just bare that in mind if you decide to go here!
